New video: Moksha with Peter Apfelbaum, Jen Hartswick, and Skerik!

Here’s a video from the Moksha gig on Friday at Las Vegas Country Saloon. This is from Christian McBride’s “Technicolor Nightmare.” Jen Hartswick’s on trumpet, Peter Apfelbaum and Skerik are on tenor, and I’m playing bari. Enjoy!

Listen to the World Premiere of Moksha’s ‘Here To Go’ album this Sunday

Moksha’s new album, “Here To Go”, will be premiered tomorrow, July 17, on 91.5 fm KUNV on a show called The Lyons Den. The show is on from 7-11 pm PDT and we’ll be in the studio with the host, George Lyons, talking about the album.

I’m really proud of this album. I played baritone saxophone on 4 tracks and was joined by Peter Apfelbaum, Bill Ortiz, and Jeff Cressman in the horn section. Peter wrote the horn parts and they are killing!

You can listen to the premiere on KUNV’s streaming broadcast here.

Here are some links to the band and musicians involved with the album:

Home from Denver.

I’ve been home from the Moksha Denver trip for a couple of days. It was a great time and I had a blast playing and hanging with everybody, as always. Peter Apfelbaum, Jennifer Hartswick, and A.P.O.S.T.L.E. all killed it!

Photographer Jimmy Iles from the Denver Examiner was at one of the shows and took some great pics.

Denver Bound!

I’m heading to Denver for a few days to play with Moksha at Quixote’s True Blue for Phish afterparties. We’re having special guests Peter Apfelbaum, Jennifer Hartswick, and A.P.O.S.T.L.E. I will be holding down the baritone saxophone chair and I’m really excited to play with so many great musicians again!!! Back in a few days.
