Drifting on a Reed Saxophonist Eddie Rich

I was wasting some time on StumpleUpon the other day when I came across dirpy.com. Dirpy allows you to enter any youtube URL and convert the audio to an .mp3 format, which you can then download. In addition, you also have the choice of converting the entire length of the video or only a portion of it.

I’m really excited about using Dirpy as an aid for transcribing songs and solos.

UPDATE 1/9/11: I went to Dirpy’s website a few weeks ago and they are no longer operating. Oh well, it was a great resource for getting recordings for learning solos and tunes.
